The most iconic moment of a memorable final round came at the 16th, when Seve's ball flared out to the right from the tee and landed in a temporary car park.

After receiving a free drop, the dashing Spaniard found the green and drained a birdie putt to move three shots clear. The Claret Jug would soon be his.
