Thomas Bjorn's three shots in the bunker to the right of the 16th green during the final round, while holding a two-stroke lead, are often recited as such.

But the previous day, Mark Roe's brilliant round of 67 proved all for nought as the Englishman was disqualified from the Championship, alongside playing partner Jesper Parnevik, for a scorecard error.

Roe would have been in the penultimate group with Tiger Woods on Sunday, but instead had to watch on from home and wonder 'what if?'.
